Always good!!!
Not much of a bakery, we were there at 1230 and there was nothing but cookies. We got a dozen mixed, they were very stale and every one tasted the same. Place was very clean, almost sterile. And their coffee and espresso were serve your self gas station machines. 😳
The most DELICIOUS salad and cakes i ever had
Will never go here again unfortunately. It has nothing to do with the food just the staff.
It's my sweet spot!
The best place in downtown for pastries. The food is great and the staff is friendly. My only complaint is that the cookies have always been dry and hard. This could be due to only the Virginia Street location cooking and everyone else getting their delivered from that store.
The best in town. A real Mobile tradition. You will not find better people then the Pollmans.
Very tasty
Good place
So many delicious baked goods here. You won’t be disappointed. Writing this review is making my mouth water...
Home to me
Great pastries, clean store.
Simply divine. If you find yourself downtown Mobile, stop in and treat yourself.
No lemon bars, again.
My girlfriend and I ordered a poboy for each of us, turkey and roast beef, and six cookies. The poboys were both $8. According to Pollman's, an $8 poboy gets you: meat on squishy french bread and a little mayonaise. No lettuce. No tomato. Just meat and bread. That all for $8. As far the cookies, some of the dough was still raw. We took these to-go, only realizing once we were home. To make it worse, the interior feels like a cafe at a hospital. For a such a trademark Mobile company, it appears zero effort is given to make this a decent store, and that is being polite.
I work around the corner from the St. Francis location and visit every time I'm craving something sweet. Their decorated cookies are my go-to and their cakes are great for functions or parties as well. Good times to go in are on "Brownie Tuesday" or "Cookie Wednesday". Ashley is one of the employees there and is very nice, helpful, and remembers faces and names of people that come in. She doesn't make you feel like a customer, but more like a friend. I highly recommend Pollman's not only for the sweets and baked goods, but for the friendly service as well.
Great little bakery in the middle of downtown with tasty baked goods.
Great donuts and coffee
Clean surroundings, cordial staff, outstanding products. A must stop when downtown Mobile.
Yesterday morning I got 4 doughnuts, 4 petit fours, cheese danish and a fried apple pie. Nothing was edible. Donuts were stale. Petit fours had to be days old because cake was like cardboard and icing just broke off. Cheese danish was hard and the fried apple pie had no filling. Will not go back.
Haven't been there in about 10 years. Nothing personal but I don't have much of a sweet tooth. I drive past there occasionally.
Best apple fritter
Best desserts in Mobile.
